MARGARET AND TAMSYN ON RADIO LIFE AND STYLE
Recently Margaret Hirsch, COO of Hirsch’s Group visited Life & Style Radio in Ballito to chat to Dave Charles about running a successful company, her business awards, helping other business women in South Africa to achieve their goals and the Girls With Dignity project that enables disadvantaged school girls to attend school full time instead of missing out one week of every month.
Also being interviewed by Dave, was Ballito Business woman, Tamsyn Ferreira, owner of Alifurn and the very first Margaret Hirsch Woman in Business Finalist in Ballito. Tamsyn was also a finalist in the Standard Bank Rising Star Awards, The Sanlam Entrepreneur of the year Awards (winner still to be announced) and the Elle Lady Boss Awards. “After hearing Margaret speak after I was announced as a finalist, I set myself a goal plan that I have stuck to and have seen how my business has improved.” She said. Tamsyn has also been instrumental in helping to upgrade the lifestyles of the women and children in an informal settlement close to the Alifurn factory – with the help of the Municipality and Siza Water.
