The ECR House and Garden that took place over a ten day period at the Exhibition Centre in Durban recently, would just
not be the same without the familiar and well respected face of Allan Hirsch, CEO of the multi award winning, billion rand company, Hirsch’s.
Allan, who confesses that there is nothing he loves better than interacting with customers at the Show that is held in his home province, is nearing his milestone three-score-years-and-ten birthday, however age is not an issue.
He regularly keeps up to date on regular basis with modern technology (pictured with DEFY Execs and the LG TV) and loves to show customers the finer points of some of the smallest appliances sold by Hirsch’s. He also found time to visit the new KZN Tourist Expo at the Show, giving encouragement and support to the all-girl Elephant Ignite Expedition that is travelling through Africa, raising awareness of the plight of the elephant.
Back at the Hirsch HQ in the main arena at the show, Allan helped with the day to day invoicing and price checks on the huge variety of products that Hirsch sells. A humble man, with a heart of gold and a unique way of making customers feel totally at ease in his presence.
