CATCHING UP WITH NESSANDANNE

Get U Noticed recently got together with the team from the popular Facebook page and Blog – NESS AND ANNE. Vanessa de Beer, who runs a successful catering business in Portugal and her friend and fellow Foodie blogger Anne Morgan who lives in Westville, popped in to the ECR House and Garden Show to meet up with Margaret Hirsch, who they have worked with over the years, compiling some of the famously fabulous Hirsch Cookery books – including the original At Home With Hirsch’s recipe book, which has become an all time Family Favourite in most South African Kitchens.
During the Show, Margaret and Vanessa took over the Celebrity Kitchen to demonstrate some great local favourites – including crepes in a whizz (using left overs to make a five star pancake in seconds) and mini Bunny Chows and a delectable, melt in the mouth Pavlova.
Appliances that they can’t live without? Microwaves; food processors, the Nutribullet, Food Mixers and the good old, very reliable (Vanessa has had hers for 15 years) Defy Electric Oven.
