GET-U-NOTICED – WORKING WITH WINNERS!
This has been an amazing week for the Get-U-Noticed team! We nominated three clients for top awards in South Africa – and all three won!! The subsequent publicity and, need we say, boost to their respective businesses, is huge, and will continue to reverberate for years to come. It has all been about getting them noticed. If they hadn’t been nominated, we wouldn’t be burning up this column with our enthusiasm!
Congratulations again to Grant Gavin for winning the Standard Bank Rising Star Award in the Entrepreneurship Category – he was a finalist last year, and we encouraged him to enter again, and he won! For the second year running, the Hirsch Group took home the Award for the top Retailer/Trade outlet in the KZN Top Business Awards. Winning the Social Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the BWASA (Business Women’s Association of South Africa) Competition was Carla Geyser who heads up Blue Sky adventures and who is taking a group of fearless women through Africa (Glenda Thompson from Get-U-Noticed is going to be part of the team for part of the way) to raise awareness of the plight of the Elephant. Carla is strictly speaking, not a client, but the team at Get-U-Noticed are involved with helping to promote the cause.
Being a winner is all about striving to be the best of the best ….and getting noticed.
