Every month, Home Décor Services – the leading voice of Home Décor and Home Services in South Africa, that is owned and managed by the construction industry, hosts a networking event at the Hirsch Décor store in Umhlanga Rocks Drive. At each event – usually held on the last Friday of the month – the topic focuses on eco – friendly products and advice to the industry and home owner on how to reduce their carbon footprint.
This month, Hirsch’s CEO Allan Hirsch, provided an informative and eye-opening talk on being more environmentally conscious, highlighting measures that can be put in place to make a difference by cutting down on energy consumption, explaining that just the smallest change like turning off the lights, using the correct products and being aware of a product’s energy rating (triple A is the best) can make the world of difference .
