Recently she held a free workshop for established business owners to help get them on track for 2021. Said Marlene “I want to ensure that 2021 is a successful year for business owners through the aftershock that COVID has had on the economy. If a successful and strategic Blueprint is put in place before the start of each new year, business owners could look at it as painting the year ahead by numbers in a business sense. By putting together a solid quarterly strategic plan, it can be established which team members in the business are the ones to leverage through to take 2021 by the horns.”
Marlene encouraged participants in the workshop to take ownership of the year ahead – and not fall into the victim mentality trap that has been the downfall of many businesses at this time. She encouraged attendees to surround themselves with people who have a victor mentality. “Be open to new ideas, especially on the marketing front as marketing helps with predictable cash flow. Money can only be made through marketing and sales and you need to build a strong marketing funnel with a solid test and measure plan in place.” She explained.
