YOUR HEALTH, YOUR BUSINESS AND YOU.

YOUR HEALTH..YOUR BUSINESS AND YOU

The popular Hirsch’s Entrepreneurs Workshop events, a Get U Noticed initiative that have been successfully held on a regular basis for the last two years, kicked off again last Friday on a trending topic – Health – your own and your businesses. The workshops, hosted by award winning businesswomen Margaret Hirsch, Executive Director of the Hirsch’s group and Business Coach with ActionCOACH, Marlene Powell, are held on a weekly basis ever Friday between 11 and 12.00. The events are free of charge and attended by entrepreneurs from around the country – on Zoom and Facebook Live.

Joining Margaret and Marlene last Friday was @Longevime’s Dr. Tamara Pheiffer, an integrated health specialist and someone who is pioneering the fields of life extension, youth enhancement and mental and physical optimisation.

Dr Pheiffer said that during 2020 she saw a big increase in inflammation in the patients she consulted explaining that it’s changes in the body that give them inflammatory conditions. The inflammation triggers come from social conflict, social isolation and social rejection. “People have been in a fight or flight situation for the last 11 months and this is reason why these conditions will have occurred.” She said.

Keeping the gut environment healthy is vital for one’s general health, Tamara explained. Eating healthily, cutting out processed foods and food high in sugar is important to keep the gut healthy. “We also need to work on our stress levels as stress impacts the gut by decreasing nutrient absorption, oxygenation, metabolism and enzymatic output.”

Marlene explained that our “health is our wealth” and if we do not take care of our health and the health of our team, our businesses will suffer. She also explained the importance of keeping a balance in one’s life. “Business is only one aspect of your life. You need to create a healthy balance. It’s vital to put your personal goals in with your business goals and distribute your time fairly between the business and your personal life.” she said.

Margaret encouraged attendees to keep their businesses going no matter what. “If you don’t have a back up plan you need to put one in place. Don’t be distracted by all the negative energy out there. Look ahead, plan ahead, set goals, put your vision board in place and you will succeed!!” She expounded.

Join Margaret and Marlene on Friday, February 5 with special guest, Harry Welby-Cooke, Entrepreneur, speaker and Southern African Co-Master Licensee of ActionCOACH. Register the workshop titled FINDING YOUR WHY here: http://bit.ly/2MbtT28
