Margaret Hirsch has been hosting Women In Business virtual networking events since the beginning of the Pandemic. Every month she invites a Guest Speaker to the event and this month she invited Nomalanga Sitole, a story teller, entrepreneur, inspirational speaker, facilitator, MC, program director, author and TV presenter to be her Guest Speaker. Over 600 women attended the event on Zoom and Facebook live.
Nomalanga, who has become a recognised voice of hope and inspiration amongst the youth in particular encouraged her audience to tell their own stories, as, she pointed out “A nugget of your story can propel someone to their destiny. God has given you gifts and skill sets, what are you doing with them? Own them.” Through her booklet entitled Be Authentic, Be Bold, Be You! Nomalanga has become a recognised voice of hope and inspiration, equipping young people to rise up into a fulfilling life through faith, authenticity, confidence and self worth.
Margaret, who has taken women under her wing and helped to train them up, particularly with baking skills said that leaving a legacy is key. “Teach people to be the best they can be, so that they can not only earn a living, but leave a legacy. Be authentic.”
