Earlier this week I attended an inspirational women in business event with clients Neuro Linguistics Practitioner, Anneme Coetzee and Hirsch’s Homestore’s (a sponsor of the Get Real Show) . Anneme was a panelist and spoke about the relationship between authenticity and the imposter syndrome. In fact, authenticity was the buzz word for the morning! In a nutshell. Forget the person you think people want you to be – just be yourself! Loved it.
The event was a collaboration between the Standard Bank Group Bank and the Get Real Show, an Open View television show hosted by Denver Naicker, and was held in the Pearl Room at the Oyster Box. It was also held to celebrate the Get Real Show’s airing of over 100 episodes of the show that is produced by @CerishaNaicker and her Digitalproductions team.
A variety of well known speakers were invited to address the gathering of over 100 KZN business women, with well known KZN actress, Jailoshini Naidoo headlining the talks. As well as Anneme, speakers included Babongile Mkhize from the Hollywoodbets Bets Foundation; Sue Moodley from @Transport.com; Portia Mthembu from Standard Bank; Author, Lameez Patel (who gave away her fantastic “Balanced Life” 2025 Diary) ; and Lenore Goss-Matjie from the Mommy’s Club: Sugar and Spice.
