LEARNING FROM SURVIVAL – Grant Gavin’s talk at Do-ference.

Chairman and Founder of the Durban Entrepreneurs Club, and Entrepreneurs Organisation (EO) Durban Chapter Member, Grant Gavin, will be one of the guest speakers at the Bertha Centres Do-ference that will be taking place in Durban on September 7 and 8.

The Do-ference is being held to bring together entrepreneurs, start-ups, finance and legal experts from across the South African entrepreneurship ecosystem and is designed to help early-stage entrepreneurs access the tools and connections they need to take their (social) enterprises to the next level. It is also being tailored to social entrepreneurs and township-based entrepreneurs.

The two-day event gives delegates the tools they need to raise funding, through practical interactive mini-workshops, inspirational TED-style talks, and free one-on-one sessions with experts.
‘The Do-ference helps entrepreneurs find out how, when, and where to access the right funding. It enables entrepreneurs to design their own programme by following either an ideation, incubation or growth track,’ says Francois Bonnici, Director of the Bertha Centre.

The Bertha Centre is partnering with the Flexible Workspace @ 8 Morrison Street, in Durban to host the two day event.
The title of Grant’s talk will be Lessons From A Traffic Light – What You Can Learn From Survival. He will be talking on the 4 stages of growth, focusing on growth as an entrepreneur, personal development and how to create success by giving first.

Tickets are still available for this event via the Durban Entrepreneurs Club. For more info contact info@durbanentrepreneursclub.co.za
