The latest At Home with Hirsch’s magazine which is in the process of being put together by GET U NOTICED has some great features to whet the appetite. W
e recently interviewed the gorgeous TV chef, cook book author and famous food blogger, Sarah Graham for the mag.
We spoke to Sarah (Sarah Graham’s Food Safari is on Mnet on a Sunday evening) about her adventures with food – with snippets from her background. She grew up in Zim on the world renowned Antelope Park in Gweru, and some of the episodes are filmed in the Park which is run by her parents, and over the years, has become famous for its lion rehabilitation programme.
Sarah uses a Defy oven on her show, and has a soft spot for the brand. “For as long as I can remember, Defy have been part of our home, so it was a pleasure to be able to work with the Defy team for the filming of the Food Safari series” said Sarah. Her Defy stove has been lugged around Southern Africa for the filming, and has never missed a beat in heat! Every one of the Food Safari episodes is held in a different location which puts quite a strain on the equipment, but the Defy stove – Electric oven and gas hob -has managed to make it over rivers, mountain ranges and desert area – without a bleep to the system!
