In partnership with Hirsch’s, Samsung Electronics recently opened the biggest Concept store in Southern African at the Gateway Theatre of Shopping. The store, an impressive 480 square meters, is the first Premium Samsung Store in Africa, showcasing the latest smart technology – from Virtual Reality Gear to the Samsung fridge with a built in sodastream. The Hirsch Group have Samsung Concept stores in the Pavilion, and Gateway in KZN and in Clearwater and Rosebank Mall in Gauteng.
Samsung’s Gateway Concept store – a revamp of the original Samsung Store, took six weeks to complete and Samsung’s Deputy Managing Director (Electronics) Matthew Thackrah complimented Hirsch’s on getting the store up and running in good time. Margaret Hirsch, Chief Operations Executive of the Hirsch Group said that like Hirsch’s staff, the Samsung team at the Concept stores worked on building solid relationships with customers. “We want our customers to enjoy a true five star shopping experience from the minute they walk into the shops.” Classes for the public on how to operate the latest Smart Technology are offered on a regular basis, as are cooking lessons and appliance demonstrations.
