The Annual Christmas Fair – now known as the Country Fair – that has been running for the last 63 years as a fund raiser for a variety of charities on the KZN North Coast, has, according to the organisers, been an overwhelming success this year! One of the highlights of the event is the celebrity cooking session that takes place in the DEFY and Hirsch tent. This year, Masterchef Finalist and well known KZN foodie and caterer, Joani Mitchell demonstrated how to make the most amazing variety of canapes. Joani is a great fan of Hirsch’s and demonstrated several products that she has purchased over the years from them. The gorgeous Patricia Lewis showed off her celebrity Masterchef talents with her incredibly delicious Christmas Chocolate cake – and Christmas Desserts. Proudly on display and in use – and much admired by the chefs and the audience – was the Defy freestanding electric and gas oven and their stunning red fridge.
