THE GET U NOTICED BOOM!


We are already well into the first part of the year, and the Get U Noticed team are super excited about how well the year has gone. Client exposure has been a priority, and this has been superb, with over a million rand’s worth of AVE (advertising value spend) for the year to date.
To add value to the business, CEO Glenda Thompson, started her mini MBA at the beginning of the year to help streamline the business and put focus on priorities. Co-incidentally, since she started the course (run by #ActionCoach) three new clients have come on board. #Hirsch’s are still the anchor client for the Get U Noticed team, and they have been joined by #JasJian – a Construction and Building Maintenace company headed up by Jacqueline Pillay who started the company 11 years ago with a loan from family and friends. Today it is a force to be reckoned with, with a turnover well in the millions and with branches in Mpumulanga, Gauteng and KZN. #MoneyLife, a brilliant concept that was started by financial whizz kids Margie Whitten and Jackie Drennan to help children and young adults manage their finances have also come on board with Get U Noticed who are helping with marketing the programme, as well as doing the PR. Finally, tying in very nicely with the Hirsch Homestores brand is South Africa’s Gardening Guru, #TanyaVisser, the editor of several gardening magazines, presenter of her own gardening TVShow on the DSTV Home Channel, author and business woman. The G.U.N team are super excited to be representing these great new clients and help their businesses to grow.
Clients Grant Gavin, Margaret Hirsch and Hirsch’s continue to make the news, with Grant’s Durban Entrepreneurs Club taking a lions share in the media. The indomitable #MargaretHirsch recently had a two page spread in Forbes Africa magazine, and publicity continues to soar for Hirsch’s, with the opening of their new branches in Gauteng. Glenda recently completed the At Home With Hirsch’s magazine (out next week) with top SA Rockers, The Parlatones on the cover – bound to be a great draw card for the magazine.
